Workforce Development Meetup
This Workforce Development Meetup aspires to build awareness on the challenges and commitment towards the development of a sustainable and agile workforce that keeps in pace with shifting labor market dynamics, while simultaneously supporting existing business operations, as well as fostering emerging entrepreneurship and innovation.
This is in tune with the STEM and Workforce Development Program’s vision and mission: To advance, connect, expand, and sustain key initiatives that drive STEM education and workforce development as key components of Puerto Rico’s economic development. To do that, the program’s multi-prong approach focuses on:
- supporting sustainable changes to existing STEM education public policy by way of strategic partnerships, stakeholder collaboration, and fostering equitable access to activities that promote and support the development of Puerto Rico’s STEM education ecosystem, and
- to offer training and mentoring activities with the aim of developing skills and job opportunities that improve the prospects of the Island’s reconstruction and socio-economic growth.

Anón Carmelita en Ponce celebra la Salud y la Tradición con “Tu Salud es mi Parranda”
El Fideicomiso de Salud Pública (PRPHT, por sus siglas en inglés), un programa del Fideicomiso para Ciencia, Tecnología e Investigación de Puerto Rico continúa llevando su mensaje de esperanza y bienestar a las comunidades del archipiélago con la campaña “Tu Salud es mi Parranda”. En esta ocasión, el evento llegó a la comunidad Anón Carmelita en Ponce, con un programa lleno de alegría, salud emocional, y momentos de conexión intergeneracional.
Colmena66 Invites Entrepreneurs to Participate in its Annual Entrepreneurship Survey
Survey participants will have the opportunity to be selected to showcase their stories and entrepreneurial journeys in the State of the Business Community in Puerto Rico Report 2024, including interviews conducted at their businesses to be published on Colmena66’s social media platforms, participation in interviews, and other media opportunities alongside Colmena66.
