Workforce Development Meetup
This Workforce Development Meetup aspires to build awareness on the challenges and commitment towards the development of a sustainable and agile workforce that keeps in pace with shifting labor market dynamics, while simultaneously supporting existing business operations, as well as fostering emerging entrepreneurship and innovation.
This is in tune with the STEM and Workforce Development Program’s vision and mission: To advance, connect, expand, and sustain key initiatives that drive STEM education and workforce development as key components of Puerto Rico’s economic development. To do that, the program’s multi-prong approach focuses on:
- supporting sustainable changes to existing STEM education public policy by way of strategic partnerships, stakeholder collaboration, and fostering equitable access to activities that promote and support the development of Puerto Rico’s STEM education ecosystem, and
- to offer training and mentoring activities with the aim of developing skills and job opportunities that improve the prospects of the Island’s reconstruction and socio-economic growth.

Desde el Simposio para el Avance de una Atención Médica de Precisión, Integradora e Individualizada en Puerto Rico, médicos de Puerto Rico y otras partes del mundo se unieron para abordar contextos culturales que afectan la integración de esta tecnología, casos exitosos y los marcos éticos para su aplicación que garanticen equidad, privacidad y responsabilidad.

Todo comenzó por un sueño, uno que compartía con quien era, en aquel tiempo, su novio: el de vivir en tierra nipona. Hoy día, Rodríguez Pantoja es directora asociada del Fideicomiso de Salud Pública de Puerto Rico. Es en esa posición que busca compartir el conocimiento que adquirió, como los avances del sistema médico, telemedicina y manejo de pacientes, y “enlazar a Puerto Rico al mundo”.
