Program Description

PR Ready Workforce Training Program is part of the projects developed by the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust. The objective is to train and build competencies in the participants for job opportunities related to the reconstruction and economic growth of the island.   Through training, certification and mentoring, participants will be prepared with the necessary skills that will place Puerto Rico within the economy of the future. PR Ready Will offer professional certifications in: Information and Communication Technology, Health Services, Public Services and Manufacturing.

This initiative is made possible by the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program with federal funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to offer training and mentoring to unemployed or underemployed residents of Puerto Rico, and with low or moderate incomes. With the aim of developing skills and job opportunities in the participants related to the reconstruction and economic growth of the Island.
